OK, so this isn't a major problem, but I am slightly perplexed. In the photo, you can see that the "top" part of the sliding plastic cover which attaches to the gearshift has separated. It's just a cosmetic issue, and with needlenose pliers, I can retrieve it from the bottom of its housing. The problem is that I don't see any way to permanently reattach it to the shifter so that it will slide when shifting gears. The obvious thing to try would be epoxy, but I am very doubtful that it will withstand forward and backward motion repeatedly for long before coming detached again. Is there something I am missing here? Some attachment point on the gearshift which clamps onto the plastic cover?

Also, you may have noticed that even though I'm in gear, my indicator is stuck at park. I don't have the first guess how I should try to fix that...

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated! This is a 2005, by the way. Thanks!
