So I got this annoying rattle in the back seatbelt left side.

I think its in the coil mechanism that snaps the belt back ya know. It stops when I pull the seatbelt out all the way - but soon as it is in the coiled up position -- it rattles away.

It is so loud and annoying.

Anyone else have this prob -- any ideas how to fix it?

 

I have an hideous rattle in the area you mention, but I think mine is coming from the pillar area. I plan to have the dealer look at it during my next oil change.

 

I just started to hear it as well in the back.

 

If any of you have the shaker 1000, listen around the subs to see if thats the source. I had to loose bolts on the amps. Took about an hour to pull the subs tighten the bolts and reinstall.

 

Take it to the dealership. Make use of the warranty.

 

I have had the exact same problem since I bought the car. FORD has looked at it 4 times now and have yet to figure it out. I will be tearing the interior apart in the spring and figure it out for myself.

 

just crank up the volume!
