Annoying interior rattle

Hi there

My car has a real annoying rattle in the car which comes from the rear drivers side, it only happens when going on uneven surfaces as such so the car rocks and it just sounds like something is loose somewhere in the back interior wise.

Its not a clunk like from exhaust hanger or anything, its a very lightweight type sound so is definetely inside.

Was just wondering if there are any prone areas people have discovered where their interiors seems to develop annoying rattles that seem to come from the rear inside the car or from the trunk area?

Is it coming from what seems like the B-Pillar? I have been having the same gripe the last few weeks.

Hi there

I found it and you will be surprised.

I have a Saleen which obviously runnings the metal piping to the back of the car to open/close butterflied in the exhaust. As my car has the update magnaflow system these are no longer in use.

It was these metal pipes causing the rattle, I bent them out of place and tied them up secure.

My car is now rattle free.

I'm glad you got it fixed. I discovered my is in the darn door panel itself. It's going back to the dealer soon to get resolved.
