Best to go by test results. Going by what "a friend of Bob's sister-in-law that used to be married to Bubba on the other side of the tracks who knew a guy that used to watch races" is not my cup of tea.
My 5.0's have always had FL1A's. Zero issues.
Well, whenever I keep my oil pump driveshaft in one piece I have zero issues.
