wtb: hood scoop

I'm looking for a hood scoop from a 99-04 GT. I'm not sure what year they started putting them on but I'm looking for the one like on Patrick's car. I'd like black but it really doesn't matter.

Hey Byron, they were stock on the '01 GT's and up. I'm thinking they were also on the '99 Anniversary cars.

Thanks Skip. Next chance I get I'll have to check out the salvage yards (I hear that's the PC term).

Yes they did, but it was a slightly different design. It was not as tall as the '01 and later

funny the 2 I've seen did not have a hood scoop, it was the scoop that was molded into the hood. no actual piece of plastic....oh well, doesn't matter anyway. I take it your going to mod the stock hood to make it work?

Not all 99 Mustangs came with the 35th anniversary package. They all had the 35th anniversary badge, but the real 35th anniversary package was the "Spring Feature Car" package for 1999. It was an add on to the base GT. A 1999 Mustang is not officially a 35th anniversary car unless it is

1. A GT
2. Had the upgraded anniversary package, including the hood scoop, side scoops and the machined aluminum five spoke wheels (among other small things), added.
