Whats it worth - 93 convertible Mustang?
I work with a woman who is looking to sell a 93 stang...but the prices on the car value websites vary considerably.....
She has:
1993 Mustang convertible
5.0
Automatic
White w/ Red interior
All stock except for Thrush mufflers
90,000 miles
never wrecked
garage kept, not driven much at all
Was bought for their daughter, but she didn't like it and got another car, so this was driven every now and then...
prices vary on the site from 1900 - 5900....
What would be a fair price for her to ask for this car?
Thanks
Chad

Agreed. Without pics or eventually seeing/driving it, price is subjective. Prices only "vary" from the perspective....what you do find (when using NADA or similar source) is low-median-high and may "vary" if it's an individual sell, trade-in value, or dealer sell. Therefore, it really comes down to what she absolutely needs....we all want top dollar, but will usually settle for less.
Just from the description, if fully accurate and without pics I'd think between 3000-4000 sounds right. Of course, I'd like to pay only 1900
, but it may really be worth paying 6000.

Convertibles are for cruising, so the automatic would be an upgrade to me. NADA, Kelly Blue Book, Mustang Price Guide, etc, are all just guides. Each Mustang or other vehicles value or selling price is determined by the desire to own by the potential buyer! kennyg
Ken, I think you and I are on the same page.

....or desire to sell. Everyone wants top dollar but most likely will sell for less depending on the situation (need money fast, just get rid of it, moving, divorce, etc.) I really, really, really want a Ferrari or Saleen S7 but I'm not willing to nor could pay those prices.....doesn't mean that I still don't desire it.
