What's the easiest way to adjust headlights on a 93?

I ordered new headlights last weekend and got them installed the other night and they looked awesome and straight/flush with the parking lights. But, when it got dark, the drivers' side was awfully lower than the pass side. I used a small pair of vise grips, (which sucked), on the adjustment screw close to the fender. It fixed the height problem, but it's pulled in badly now and looks awful, at least to me. Is there a certain way to adjust these, because I can't get any tool to the adjustment screw next the the radiator? Any help? Thanks<!-- google_ad_section_end -->

Also, the new fog lights I bought aren't centered in the fog light openings... And, yes, that bracket is in the mounting plate correctly, behind the light itself. Any clue on how to center it?

The headlight housings have two screws. One adjusts up and down, the other left and right. They are very small. I do not know the size.

When I replaced several housings, the adjustments didn't need to move. Are you sure that you just did not put the housing on incorrectly on the driver's side?

I fugged with that for ever on my car....it's sort of a pain man, you just have to find the right size wrench and play with it....some have told me you have to remove the light and adjust the screw a little and then put it back in (doesn't make sense but I didn't have clearance problems on my 89 lincoln...I could hide a body between my front fascia and radiator if I wanted to)

Well, I can't find a wrench or socket small enough to fit it. It's smaller than a 4mm and also smaller than a 5/32... However, I tried a small, long skinny nosed pair of needle nose earlier and it helped the looks a little, but unsure if it's screwed up the adjustment again..?

Ralph, there are actually 3 adjustment screws on each light. I figured the top 2 adjusted height and the lower one adjusted left/right?

Jason, I would have to look again on my vert.
It's been such a long time.
Regardless, changing the housing should not have moved it that far.

On another Mustang forum I'm on, a fella there said that he used a 4mm on the 2 top screws and there's also one that is rounded off. He said he just used a nut or something and just tightened it?

Not exactly sure what I did, but I pushed the opposite side of the light a little and it straightened up and somehow, it didn't screw up the adjustment. Anyway, it's all fixed, for now at least...
