It's not looking good. Nenna, my sister-n-law, called me at work yesterday and said David was having a really hard time with his breathing and the doctors said there was nothing more they could do except try to keep him comfortable. Deb and went to see him last night and we were able to talk to him. He knows it won't be long and he's made his peace with GOD. He's ready to go HOME.
Nenna called me this morning and said he had a bad night and I'm on my way up to the hospital now. Guys, I know you've been praying for Deb's health and it's been working, now I ask that you pray for Nenna and their kids and give them strength. I'll let you know more when I know more.

my thoughts are with him and his family. what happened?

 

My brother David, along with my wife Deborah, have been fighting cancer. David for the past 3 years and Deb since last October. While we have Deb's cancer nodules getting smaller David took a turn for the worse when they found a tumor on his spine. They admitted him last week because he was not getting enough oxygen to his brain and he wasn't functioning well.
We just got home from the hospital and it was a rough day but David's still holding on. You can tell he's hurting but they give him Adavan for the pain. We had to get Deb home 'cause she really should not be around very many people and her feet were hurting her. I'll try to keep everyone updated and I thank you from the bottom of my heart for keeping my family in your prayers.

Skip, has anyone thought of calling in Hospice for David? This was the best decision we did for my mother back in August.
