he said on the dyno, he can do it for 150. I think he was meaning the email route, and going back and forth with tunes and datalogs.

 

Well, I had my car tuned. I only gained 10 HP and a similar ammount of Tq. I had hoped for more but at least the AF is good to go.

A great turnaround of the tune was that drive-ability is EXCELLENT!!! I never noticed hesitation before, but now it is great; feels like a different car. Wished things would have worked out earlier to get tuned sooner and I could have enjoyed it more before I put it on the boat tomorrow.

I didn't pay $75. That's for mail order tunes. No one would even touch mine with a mail order because of the compression. So it cost me $300, that was with the tuner coming here to huntsville instead of doing it in Birmingham.Headed to Germany. I'll be there for about 4 years at least, 1 while i'm deployed and then 3 more after I bring my family over. As far as upholstery, not a prayer; If I ever see another hog ring I'm hiding my fingers fast......I don't know how many times I got cut by those things

My house is almost completely packed now....just doing the last little things......BOXES EVERYWHERE!!!!!

They're not all that bad... a lot better than PI heads, and PI motors would be making over 300 with a similar shortblock.

As homage to you and L-man, My goal is to run the cobra on the Nuremburg Ring shortly after I get it to Germany. The car will get there around 10 Nov and I don't deploy until after the end of Nov so hopefully that will give me some time to have fun!

My wife and I are also looking at this area for retirement so I may be back before you know it.
