Not me. I have been to a couple of HuntsvilleCarScene events and the last couple of RCMC shows but I don't have a Comet. I have been wanting to see what kind of numbers the Bird will put down with it's newer drive train. I missed the Dyno Day last year so figured I would get in on the one this year.

I saw and talked to the owner of the Black SC. That car only had 20 something k on it and is original. It has only been rained on a couple of times.
I have a Silver V8 daily driver that got a 4.6 Windsor 2V crate motor w/tune in 2001 along with a new suspension and the rest of the drive train.

No tune for me as it was done by Jerry Wroblewski and I don't want to mess with it.
My motor is like the 99-00 Mustang GT, I believe Romeo's were installed after that until the 05 3V. No motor mods were done, just a custom exhaust.

Last year for US Maverick production was 1977 - and they were either straight six or 302 V8 engines...

Tips before showing up to the dyno:

1. Check tire pressure, ensure that you have correct pressure.

2. Have a good/new air filter, if you have a washable one, clean it prior to the dyno day.

3. Have a good/new fuel filter, if you don't know if it has been changed at all, and you have owned the car for 5 years............it probably needs changed.

4. If you are close to an oil change interval I would recommend that as well.

Ah, but this is the rare South Lithuanian Maverick motor. My cousin's dad brought it home from the war.

To get the highest possible numbers you may want to increase your tire pressure. The higher the air pressure in the tire the less rolling resistance which equals higher dyno numbers.

No time slots. I imagine first come first pull.

However, Due to the fact that I set this thing up, I'd like to get on there early. We just had a new addition to the family today and can't afford to spend alot of time away from the house.

just cause I'm wondering....and cause this needs a bump...my tuner is in route now...does the guy do the tuning or do we have to do it? and who does the pulls (IE who is driving?) if the tuning is with the guy doing the tuning, can we do tunes ourselves for those 3 runs? just little questions....

You drive the car. Arthur has used the tuners before and might help you, but he's not obliged to do so for your money. He may allow you to make very small adjustments in between your 3 pulls, but again, his call.

You can rent the machine by the hour if you want to tune the car.
