RCMC: Club news, info, issues
RCMC, just some notes.....using the Forum to ensure the most people get access.
I have built (and keep adding to) the 2008 membership roster. Using this new e-mail list, as well as 2007 I am receiving several "kick back" messages lately. Mostly, this is due to your firewalls and/or spam filters. I cannot send e-mails individually (think about it). Solutions?
The 2008 roster continues to grow. We are up to 40 PAID members. We ended 2007 with around 75 members. I appreciate those folks who have renewed and/or signed up expediently.
I WILL BEGIN TO WEAN OFF OF THE 2007 E-MAIL LIST AND BEGIN TO ONLY USE THE 2008 LIST VERY SOON. IF YOU ARE NOT ON IT, YOU ARE NOT A PAID MEMBER, AND YOU WILL BEGIN TO NOT GET CLUB-RELATED E-MAILS; THEREFORE, CLUB-RELATED INFO; THEREFORE NOT BE PART OF THE GREAT CLUB ACTIVITIES PLANNED FOR 2008.
May 10 Mustang and All-Ford Powered Car Show. Details are looking pretty good. FEW folks have stepped up and stated which committee they can assist on. Contact me if you want to help out. I'll go over the different groups again. In that, some of the more "need now" groups include:
Sponsors - I can get you the letter which outlines sponsor levels. If everyone brought in even a $25-50 sponsor we'd be in great shape.
Advertising (the show) - We have a fairly standard cut/paste paragraph which outlines all the show details. We need folks to scour the web and get the out. It is already on various sites, but more is better!
Registration, data input, etc - We have a small group and need more to assist here. Basically, the show starts and/or stops here.
Show Assistant/Co-director - Everyone needs a back-up/helper. Me!
Judging - Not as hard as you think (Gary will kill me for saying that). Best way to get immersed in car shows.
Anyway, the weather is starting to turn more favorable and we (RCMC) are getting ready (beside the May show) to do some great club activities. Get involved!!!!!

Puter, just fyi, your e-mail is one of the ones getting kicked back as undeliverable. Msg says something about a spam filter. This is a new one for you since all msgs went thru prior to the last 3 attempts.
