Question about battery
If my battery gets rained on while in the car could this cause it to not have enough power to crank the mustang? Tired to start the mustang this morning and it would barley crank and then after about 5 cranks it just clicked. Now I think it is flooded right now since gas is on the carb spacer.

Well we finally got it started. The battery isn't getting enough power to start the mustang. Charged the battery took off the charger and it wouldn't start. Put charger on and tried and it started.

I would think starter. This was all of the sudden. Drove it all this week and then went out yesterday to move it and it wouldn't start. Now I just have to make it last until Christmas break.

Check for a Dead Cell, sure sounds like it.
Test with a Voltmeter with car turned Off for 5 Minutes, if you measure below 10 volts
you got a Bad Cell. OR most Battery places will check it for you, Free.
if it's still under Warranty see your Dealer or where you bought The battery.
