Standards were lower in the 70s. Did you catch the UCLA markings? Some kind of study to be used to condemn the past? Perhaps the Pantera being obsolete, its owner couldn't get needed parts out side of a fabrication shop and so donated it to the university for a tax write off.

Anything else mid or rear engined from the same era would have been just as bad if not worse. What year car was that Mike? What kind of value would it have had today provided it wasn't crashed?

early 1971 model (note - pushbutton doors). Probably 40-45K today in original condition.
