Nice '67 390 Fastback in Madison on eBay

I think that I remember hearing that there were 6 cars. I'm not sure though. I'm sure there were more then one. There were probably one or two for photo shots and filming. One or two for driving stunts. One for interior shots. They probably wrecked at least one.

Perhaps you meant a 1967 GT500 Clone?
Actually the "Original" "Eleanor" from the Original 1974 movie "Gone in 60 Seconds" was a 1973 Ford Mustang Mach 1!
In 2000 a remake of the "Original" movie "Gone in 60 Seconds" was released. In the remake the "Original" 1973 Ford Mustang Mach 1 "Eleanor" was replaced, not with an "Original" 1967 Shelby Mustang GT-500, but with a restyled interpretation of the 1967 GT-500, a quite inaccurate "CLONE".
I don't think clones of the 2000 movie "Eleanor" "CLONE" are selling for $125,000.00. Who is laughing now?

The car in the ad is not really stocker but it has some tasteful mods. Those wheels are probably 15" magnum 500's. They look like they belong on the car. If it were mine, I'd probably try to find a matching set of chrome sport mirrors (kind of a period precursor to today's agent 47's) and call it a day.

If you ever want to be taken seriously in a conversation then don't start it with "Dude" every time you speak up.
There is another local '67 390 4 speed fastback coming up for sale here locally. Original Dark Moss Green and has the Torque thrust wheels....the owner is a Bullitt fan so it's close in appearance to a Bullitt. I drove the car a couple days ago and it's STRONG....a true drive anywhere car. PM "390 4spd" here on the forum if you have any interest....it's his car. I took these pictures on Thursday....

Did ya'll see the Marti report that has been aquired and added to the listing. This Stang was originally white. If you are going to the trouble to try to put it back stock and point out so many of it's original qualities, why not keep the original color. Where's the hard to find 390 air cleaner? How about the front seat upholstery, needs some more work before installing the seats in the car. Check out the speakers in the rear trap door. Just my observations. kennyg
