Newsletter correction

Just want to let everyone know that the newsletter incorrectly states RCMC will be going to the Drive-in the first Saturday in September (Sept 1st). That is incorrect. We voted to have it take place October 13th.

Then I realized the NASA race in Birmingham is on the 13th, and suggested we move the drive-in to the 6th. In any case, we need to settle some dates. Give me a day or so to put something together. I really want you guys to come see us in Birmingham.

Jake, the DQ thing is a cruise-in. We are talking about driving down to Sand Mountain Drive-in theater. It's a blast!

Ric, not sure what "can this type info on website" you mean...a shirtless Ralph, or about the Drive-in Movie event. I just checked my notes/calendar and had the drive-in movie on Oct. 13, but as mentioned, that is also the B'ham race course event....and also a car show (Meridianville Middle School). Oct. 6th was mentioned as an alternative. That is Talladega NASCAR weekend and I don't know how that effects others, but I'm at the races. We'll further discuss this at the meeting Tuesday night.

I think I've got most things on the RCMC site. Check the Events page. I didn't put the drive in on there because I was confused about the date as well.

Ric, as mentioned, Keith tries to put a few things on the front page, but to put all of the events could lead to "information overload" and bloat the home page. Keith has been doing a very good job of filling out the Events calendar from the Newsletter and emails to the club members.

BTW, it was good to meet you!

You'll have to excuse me...I'm new and confused. When I look at the calender all I see are peoples message board handles (links to their profiles). I don't see any events. By calender i mean the link near the top of this page that's titled "Calender".

Go to www.rocketcitymustang.com. That's our club's website and has the club info you're looking for.

This is just our Forum. As Mark mentioned above, visit the official website and select the "Events" link on the lefthand side.
