New update from Deb

<TABLE class=MsoNormalTable style="WIDTH: 100%" cellSpacing=0 cellPadding=0 width="100%" border=0><TBODY><TR><TD style="PADDING-RIGHT: 1.5pt; PADDING-LEFT: 1.5pt; PADDING-BOTTOM: 1.5pt; WIDTH: 100%; PADDING-TOP: 1.5pt" vAlign=top width="100%">Skip and I are finally home after a long day at The Cancer Center. New round of Chemo started today and this time I am getting 2 different drugs which is being given to me a little differently this time. I received one drug today will get the second one tomorrow, and we will continue this routine until Dr. H. decides we need to do something differently. He doesn't know when he will do the next CAT scan and I'm ok with that for now. I was telling Donna, my sister, last night that I am ready to hear the word REMISSION for a couple of months. I know that's pushing things, and I know God has a plan, but it would just be nice for a little while. Side effects this time are a little different. Of course I got the caution first thing about being around people who could "have something" which my immune system is going to be compromised so much with these two drugs. I can't drink anything cold or be in a cold environment for 3-5 days after treatment. He said as an example, if I put my hand into ice, I would feel like I was getting a electrical shock or I had frost bite. Nausea, diarrhea, vomiting, easily to bruise, easy to bleed if I get cut, cautioned me to stay away from finger nail clippers (thought that was kinda funny). Just some wield stuff this time but seems to be a pretty "powerful drug" so BRING IT ON!!!! I am ready. fficeffice" /><O></O>

<O></O>

Once again, thank you for your prayers, you loving thoughts and your strong support. Keep praying, that's all I ask. Pray is so powerful and I'm a strong believer in prayer. I mean, look at me, I will have my one year anniversary Oct 10 being diagnosed with cancer. God is good, and he has been good to me. So let's keep this pray line going because it is saving my life.<O></O>

Love to you all!<O></O>

My family's prayers are still with you. Sounds a lot like the symptoms and do's/don'ts my mom is going through so I feel for you. Positive attitude seems to be the key.....keep it up!

Hey guys, thank you for the kind responses. Deb had a rough night sleeping, or lack of, last night. Seems she has gotten some kind of flem build up in her lungs now that causes her to cough all night. Like she said, she goes back to the doctor today so she'll ask him about it then.

Skip

PS - She said she may be with me Sat. it just depends on how she feels.
