new tranny
$950 later I have another rebuilt tranny in the 'vert. Seems the last one for reasons unknown to me was rebuilt as a racing tranny even though at the time it had a stock motor in the car. I'm thinking now may be a good time to get rid of the car because I really want an '03-'04 Cobra

Could be. If Christina had her way it WOULD BE! Needs to be. I want a Cobra! Car is back at the tranny shop, seems I got a bad new valve body. Ralph, if you know anyone looking for a FoxBody convertible let me know, I'll sell it fro $10K, that's cheap considering what I have invested. Hey, you off Saturday, I'm looking for someone to go with me to the FoxBody Reunion Show in Spring Hill,Tn.
