i think the bod needs to make a decision on the new meeting place. since we skip this months meeting, we should have plenty of time to figure it out before the January meeting.

<-- This BoD member knows how hard it is to find a place. If there's a problem, I can support a change. If it's cause we're bored, I recommend an occasional break from West End Grill but return the next month. We can't do that very often though if we want to keep our reservation.

Just curious if anyone else noticed the name of the place going in where Indigo Joes was? Steve McQueens!

That is what it was .

I drove by there a several weeks ago and noticed the name. Then when I tried to tell someone what Indigo Joe's had been renamed to, but I forgot the name

primary reason for a change is due to size.

secondary reason is price vs menu selection and quality

well............

We used to have the free big room, closed off, etc. at OH! Bryans in Madison. It was a pretty good setup.

IIRC, the only reason that we left there was that some people had to have adult beverages at the meeting.

And..... it was not close for some people - I know it was long haul for Skip. But - that was not why we moved the meeting.

But - they also have a location on HWY 72E - so we might be able to stick with them and move the location around. They do have other locations too (don't know where though).

Doesn't matter where we go, it's gonna be a haul for me. Anybody ever thought about Carrabba's, or would that be too expensive?

Carrabba's will only do lunch meetings as they are not open for regular business during lunch. They require a minimum of 50 and you only have one entre available per meeting. Cost is about $12 per person.

No, It is their business model that allows them to stay busy from 4:00 on every day.

They don't open their doors for regular lunch and don't have the overhead. If you want to have a private lunch party they will accommodate provided you meet the number they need to pay their staff and make a profit. Outback is the same way. They are both owned by the same company.
