Too expensive?

I thought it might be the 4 lug/17 inch combo, but they are available - just looked up a set on Ebay:

Oops, learn something new everyday.
Mavromont calls them Pony R rims and have registered the trademark.
So, he's not selling pony rims, he's selling Pony R rims. :-)

Better be some very decent tires to buy that used set for $600 when the rims go for $450 new.

My guess was that pony rims were 16s, not 17s. Then I looked carefully at the rim and thought they looked slightly different than the standard ponies.

If I ever went back to pony rims I would buy theirs in chrome.
