Kruse Collector Car Auction March 15 VBC

Someone had mentioned it in another thread, but here's a link to info on the Kruse auction Saturday March 15, 2008 at the Von Braun Center in Huntsville. Some of you may want to attend and/or meet as a group to check out the cars being offered and possibly bid! kenny

They need someone to do a little fact checking on their auction site - this lot sure looks like a '65 and not a '67 to me :

and this "Cutlass" sure looks alot like a Cougar:

I concour. I bet the owner doesn't know what year it is, and the people running the site don't know the difference.

You're right Mike, that is one of the ugly '65's, hope no one is phone bidding without looking. And Cougar, yes, but of the 71/73 variety. Well Cougar, Cutlass, they both start with C and have a u in the name. Is Ray offering the '67 that looks like one he had on _bay? kennyg

Yep, that's the car Ray redid. He is also supposed to be running a Unique Cobra replica for a guy (a little rough and high priced, IMHO).

I spent about an hour at the auction today. LOTS of Chevys, but hardly anything was making reserve. Saw a few Fords, but none that I'd really lust over. Probably the best Ford there was a Lincoln Mark V, completely original with only 23K miles on it. There were a couple of Fox bodied convertibles, a few '65-66 coupes, a Falcon, a Fairlane, a couple of Tbirds.

Best deal I saw was a black, 4 speed, '65 GTO that went for around $20K, but I'm not sure if it met reserve or not.
