killed an SS..it was a white one.

I know it said ss on the side of it and was the one before the last modified bodied camaro...<---did that make sense?
I noticed him leaving my workplace with center loud @$$ exhaust
he kept blipping the throttle, he came around a corner in front of me and punched it in first gear (very little wheel spin) so to oblige I punched it in first behind him and lit them up and walked it sideways a little to let him know I want to play.....so when the road finally opens up to 2 lanes he moves to the right and slows down....we went from about a 30 MPH roll...I was in first. I'm pretty sure he was too....but I couldn't hear anything either...loud @$$ camaro...
other then the exhaust I don't know what he had done to it, but it sounded like it was cammed, so I think he may have had heads too...

anyway, I beeped off and on the 3rd we went, I hit second quick (couldn't go full boost though, was worried about wheel spin) dropped the hammer in 2nd, he was about a half length back, then I hit 3rd and pulled maybe another car length, he was just about a smart car in between his front and my rear....I ran it up to about 130 then backed off....I was pulling away so I didn't want to continue plus we were coming up on traffic.

he gave me the thumbs up. it was definitly a very worthy kill. **** quick camaro. he had a hood, what looked like Z06 wheels on it (very wide in the rear) it was lowered, a T top, and his throttle response was instant....most cars you race it takes it half a second to realize you kicked it in the @$$.

definitly a nice camaro...I didn't get a chance to talk to him as he turned off... I'm gonna try and find him tomorrow to talk to him and find out what was done to it.....I hope he wasn't here on a conference or training (it's the sparkman center, this place is HUGE) I hope not, cause it was definitly fun!

roy, ask me questions so I can find out exactly what year it was...and out of curiousity, what do SS's run stock?

You better be careful driving like a fool on the Arsenal. They have no tolerance for it there.

besides, have you seen arsenal traffic at 4:00! WHOA! it would be like a very light blip of the throttle race

streetracing today more dangerous to me because it is liable to occur anywhere at any moment .. back in my day when we wanted to race someone we "went " to one of many predetermined marked off 1/4 mile strips .. such as martin rd. or hump creek or lick skillet.. you just dont race up and down 231 or 565 without the chance of diar consequences.. i was simply trying a few days ago to get into a turning lane so i could get on north parkway and some fool in a bmw something would not let me over ..apparently he wanted to race me .. it took my reaching 110 mph to get around him .. then he just falls in behind me like nuthin was happening. i regularly go near 100 just to keep up with the flow

I'm not a stupid street racer. I only do it when there is someone willing and able. and usually not frequently like I see alot. I cruise at about 85-90 on the interstate, but I don't get stupid fast like I've seen. if we had a halfway decent 1/4 mile track that was open at night for free all street cars can run (was that way in omaha, it was perfect, we ran all night long back then.)

I really don't care if you guys think it's bad or not. moderator if it's that much of an issue that this is not allowed. then delete the post. I'm sick of the street racing is so bad. I really don't care. alot of people do it, if you get caught you get caught, just like talking on your cell while driving. at least I'm paying attention to what I'm doing.

And if you kill yourself doing it? Maybe someone else? Sombody's kid? Ever think about that? Race tracks and drag strips are made for a reason, use them.

Yes there is. We do not condone it what so ever. People have posted about thier kills, but we do not encourage it nor do we sanction it what so ever.

I strongly advise you to take it to the track. Its safer for you, me and everyone else on the road, as well as legal.

I also ask you to keep it off the forums, as it usually only promote debates and arguements that serve no good (ex: the previous post).
