well i put in about 14 hours of sanding, priming, welding and filling

finished pas door, welding in patches, and taking out 2 door dings

sanded roof to bare metal what a pain, we will probably have to skim coat the entire rood with finishing glaze and use a flexible sanding block !

there is old hail damage everywhere, we stopped counting at 60 on the roof, luckily i am not using the trunk or hood.

40 + years in the south sure cars hell!

sanded and epoxy primed fiberglass hood looks so good like i does not even belong on this car!

sanded rear driver quarter down to metal,

welded in 1 patch panel in rear quarter

welded in 2 other patch panels behind rear window on driver side

i have came to a conclusion

i really hate body work ! !

between welding and sanding i would choose welding any day! !


will post pics asap but it is 2 am and i need to be at work in 6 hours ! ! !

I was watching 'Chop, Cut, Rebuild' the other day, one of my daily required shows, and it heard it said best like this. Notice that it's called 'body work' not 'body fun'. kennyg

I don't know, Rogue, it looks pretty simple to me......that is, me just sitting in a lounge chair with a cold one and watching YOU do all that work....Not putting a terrible strain on me....LOL
