I need your prayers
I'm back from drill duty. It was a good drill except for one mishap. This is gonna take a while to explain so bear with me.
During some routine Marine sustainment training our goal was to do five pull ups run 1/4 mile and repeat 3 more times, and tere was three groups, and all the groups got through the exercise and completed the task. The final group was about to complete the final lap, and one of our marine fell. His leg cramped and his arm cramped and he was not able to catch himself and he landed on his chin all of his weight hit on is chin. It shattered his chin, and when the Corpsman responed and rolled him over his eyes rolled back in his head and he went into a seizure, his breathing slowed and heart rate dropped then both stopped, CPR was preformed for upwards of 12 minutes until a team of EMT's arrived, then he was rushed to Vanderbilt University Hospital where they were able to get a pulse back, but he still can't breathe on his own. He is in the ICU for an unknown amount of time. They had to put him into a coma so that he had a chance to live.
Also pray for the Corporal that was overseeing the task. He is blaming himself and it is eating him up inside.
We need your prayers.
Thank you all,
Asa

Always hate to hear bad news, but glad you shared this info with us. Be assured that all who read your post(s) send their best wishes and prayers to the soldier and his family. Also, the corpsman did his best and should not hang his head down.....no one blames him and he shouldn't blame himself either. His grief and concern actually show how dedicated he is to his duty and his fellow brothers in arms. Again, our thoughts and prayers are with the injured soldier and all who serve.....
