I know some folks that have good luck with the Ford Duraspark distributor. Cheap too.

Junkyard distributor. Research it to figure out what you need.

The best way to go about it if it is Duraspark that you will be using is to go to AutoZone or Advance etc and pick up a new Distributor for a "77 Thunderbird with a 302 and Ignition module with a "blue grommet". You also need a new coil for the '67 Mustang. You will also need to change the "plug gap" for m .035 to between .045 and .050 depending on what other kind of stuff is on the engine. Of course you will need some wire, solder etc to do the conversion. The system works real well and the nice thing about is if you were in Nashville and your distributor went out, you could go to the local AutiZone and trade out your bad part.

the dizzy i have in there is a 74 ltd dizzy....guess i missed 3 years. the gapping is already a .47 what is involved in the conversion that i would need to solder stuff? i do need a new coil bad, and a new altenator.
