Honest Shop
FYI:
Just thought I'd share my experience with a shop.
February of 2007 I put 4 new tires from Tire Rack on the Porsche. I had them sent to Firestone near the Madison mall. I also had a 4 wheel alignment done. I don't drive the Porsche much, (650 miles in almost a year now) but I drove it out for dinner around Christmas when we were meeting a group at Shogun.
Anyway, It wasn't really pulling, but the steering wheel wasn't straight. I had a lifetime warranty on the alignment at Firestone so I planned on taking it in someday.
Last night on the way home I dropped the Cobra off for a 4 wheel alignment at Firestone. They called at 8:30 today, it was ready. I drove over at lunch in the 928 and switched cars, had them check the alignment.
They called and said they don't have the proper tool to adjust the alignment fully, so they would refund my money I paid them a 11 months ago.
The 928 actually drives pretty well, so sometime I'll need to find a shop in town with an alighnment service that has the right tools. Any suggestions? No NOT the Porsche shop! Been there done that. I gave them 2 chances last summer. They kept the car for over a month and still didn't fix everything, then the service manager didn't call me back as promised.

Actually yeah, Mike is the one you want at Big 10. He goes above and beyond to make stuff right. He's the only one that touches my cars. He did work at Firestone at Airport, then moved to Big 10. A lot of people followed him as well.
