Deb called me at work today to tell me the great news. She went in for her CT scan yesterday and they called her today to tell het the nodules in her lungs ahd decreased in size and her esophageal(spelling) wall looks better than it did 3 months ago. Her esophagus is where all the cancer started. Once again let us thank all of you for putting us in your prayers. You don't know how much it means.
On a more somber note, my older brother, David, who also has cancer in his lungs, did not get a good report. The nodules in his lungs have grown and there are more of them. He has not lost faith, and neither have we, that both he and Deb will beat this.

Great news about Deb, sad news about your brother. Doesn't look like my 93 will be making it to the show today. Back yard is too wet and muddy. Will stop by tho to say Hi.

This last round of chemo treatment has not been nice to her. I don't think she's had one day that she's felt decent. Been about a week and a half. She spent last night in the bathroom throwing up. She's pretty much has no facial hair left. I know she feels bad and I feel for her because there's nothing I can do for her except to be there for her.
On a happier note, my brother David had a CT scan earlier this week and the nodules in his lungs did not increase in size .

Deb had to have her granny pack with the chemo taken off because the chemo was causing her to her cold sores in her mouth and on her lips. This has happened before but not as bad. On a more sad note. my brother, David, called Deb and I the other night to tell us he had another CT scan and this time they found another tumor, this time on his spine on one of his thoracic vertabrae. He goes in Monday to see what they can do about it. This one is causing him problems with breathing. My oldest brother and his wife got here tonight from Palm Bay, Fl. They're staying with us. They came up to see David, Deborah and our mother who's going to be 85 later this month.
