Got picked up for E-7

Found out today that I got picked up for Sept!!!

Now if the warrant thing pans out, I can get out of Redstone.

End of Sept/ Early Oct..

As far as where I want to go from here.....Bragg, Campbell....It doesn't matter. All posts lead to Iraq anyway. I just want to get back to what I enjoy, and as an E-7 I won't be doing it.

its a military promotion to enlisted level 7. Not sure what the name of the rank is.

i just took a new job as a civi employee in army engineering, i am a gs-07 which is a civilian pay grade.

It is the rank that enlisted members become Senior Non-Commissioned Officers

I didn't happen yet. The CSM was out of town this week and wanted to wait till he got back. It is supposed to happen this Friday now.....Doesn't matter either way. Job doesn't change for me.

I'm more excited to find out about how my Warrant packet turns out. I should get the results at the end of the month.

BTW Meg, The wife and I saw you yesterday in housing. We were checking out a renovated house in the officer area that a friend recently moved into. The wife liked the car.
