FS: 1966 Mustang Coupe project
FS: 1966 Mustang Coupe project
I thought I'd post this since it is located in the same state
. The car is located in Odenville at my shop just NE of Birmingham. I bought this from a customer of mine who realized he could not tackle the project....he had almost NO tools and absolutely no knowledge of cars. It is a 1966 Mustang Coupe...originally white with red interior but repainted black(poorly), 6 cylinder 3 speed. There is a 6 cylinder engine and automatic transmission in the car which I do not believe is original and I have not heard run. The car is fairly solid but will need some quarter panel work...doors and fenders are solid, hood and deck lid are good. It is not complete but is mostly(off hand missing front and back windows and dash wiring harness)....and I have added some extra pieces here and there like V8 drum front spindles. It would make a great project, I just have too many so it's better that this goes to someone who needs a project. The car is apart but still has suspension, engine and trans in it. I am open to trades for something I can use......Asking $900(The original rust free doors, fenders, hood, deck lid are worth that much).

Can you post some pics of the car or send them to michael.j.long@hotmail.com, this might be a good car to build for my wife. How are the floor boards.

I'll keep it under consideration.....I'd really like to just thin the herd a little and move this one and the Torino GT I have but it might be an option.
I'll get out back and snap some pictures today and post them here.
Here is a current picture. The floors have a couple of small areas that need to be patched but it seems as though you could just patch those areas and not have to replace an entire panel....the spots are very small. Ingore the Turbo Coupe bumper cover sitting on the roof and the '67 Fastback behind it is not for sale...sorry
