Electronics stores
Electronics stores
I am trying to get a Big Screen TV for my soldiers dayroom/lounge, But don't have a huge budget to work with.
I thought I remember someone on here saying that they worked at HHGREGG and was trying to see if I could get one less than advertised.
Anybody here work at an electronics store or know of anyone that may be able to help me out??

Sam's club had a few marked down if you know where to look. If you are at the front of the store, go the the far right corner near the front at the end of the TV/PC display isle. That's where they put their marked down stuff.
NewEgg.com, maybe ZipZoomFly.com too. Be WARY of any online site that is based out of New York.
How big? How soon? LCD/Plasma or Rear projection?

It has to be a local, NEW purchase, because it will be paid for on the Supply Credit card. If I could do cash or online I would have looked into that already. I saw a 50" Toshiba projection for $999.
My window is short because I am trying to get this thing before they change their mind on letting me have it.

I looked into the projection systems....only problem.
1. Need a home theater for sound....Adds to budget.
2. Need a tuner for the cable channels....Adds to budget.
3. The room is very bright in daytime, so the screen would be washed out.
Anyway, I found a 52" and a DVD home theater for under $900.
I am VERY interested in the projection units for myself........even did some research on how to do a DIY screen.
