mmm...keeping track of "kills"....do you need evidence of said "kill" to prove you are a street racer?....cause if you did...you could get arrested.

Yeah, a "Street Racer" class is just a terrible idea.

That has happened recently. Some kind of old car, that i am not familiar with hit a light pole straight on. Went in around 3 feet.

I do have a recommendation for next years show. Today I went to a car show downtown and they had some awesome plaques. I was thinking we could do something like what they did for the winners. They also gave out pictures of your car. Here is the plaque I got today.

I think it'd be cool if the RCMC got a bunch of Saturn V or other rocket models and just used RCMC and 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place decals and gave rockets as trophies.

The RCMC did this for several years. It took alot of at show assembly, but was cool to have the pics taken at the show developed at the 1 hour photo in the mall and present them to the participants. I think everyone in the show received one. I've got one with a red '67 on it that I built for a customer last century! kennyg

They printed these there. That Pro Shot place did it at their camper.

In 2005 I attended a car show here in Huntsville and placed. They took pics of the vehicles as they registered at the show. What made it "cheesy" is that the hosts gave all of the parts to assemble the plaque.

They took the pic once you entered. Printed them. And when you won you got your plaque took it over to a table and they put them together.

The 1 I got didn't either. They don't because you don't know when you will have a tie and things like that. So all you do is get extra plaques and stickers. Makes it a lot easier to deal with.

Okay, I'm confused. This thread began because of questions over classes and sponsor picks (RCMC 28th Annual Show). Then, it veered into ILLEGAL street racing. And now we're discussing awards, plaques, and photos on awards/plaques. Huh?

Apparently some people have difficulty finding the 'New Thread' button at the top of the page! kennyg
