Me and Thomas made fun of them. Saying for just 1 CI more and 100 dollars you get .5 HP more.

Uh, they are completely different engine families. You must be thinking about 427 and 428 ?

I completely agree. For two years I've been asking MCA to develop a points system for MCA members who participate in Fun Ford Weekend or SCCA events. It's a shame that Mustang is so many things to so many people, except for the national leaders of our hobby, to whom they're only good for parking lot shows.

429 was part of the Ford 385 series of engines (429, 460). The 427/428 are part of the FE engine family (332, 352, 390, 406, 410 Merc, etc.) No parts interchange between the two families (unless you want to count external stuff like carbs, coils, plug wires). Not all 429s were Bosses - there were 429 Police Interceptors, 429 Thunderjet, 429 Cobra Jet, 429 Super Cobra Jet.

There was also 428 Police Interceptor, 428 Cobra Jet, 428 Super Cobra Jet.

dude i could smoke your little red pony anyday. Street Racers are cars that are built for speed on the streets.

Dont get too big for your shoes, you dont wanna mess with our cobra. And the closest thing we had to a street racer class was a street driven specialty class with all the cobras, saleens, GTRS, shelbys, etc.

No we had Street Driven. Specialty was a sub catagory of street driven.

Can you name each car? If you remember the car it was a race. Can't it doesn't count.
