Club meeting tonight, 7pm, West End Grill
Stayed home today and worked on my '92 that blew the front trans seal on Mother's Day!. It's been sitting in my garage up on stands for 5 months with the trans out, and with everything that's been going on just havn't had a chance to get a good work session on it. Started on it at 10 am and by 2 pm had it put together and ready to put fluid in it, tools and parts were laying right where I left them from taking it apart. Let it run awhile on stands in drive at idle to get fluid up in all the passages, while I opened up the garage. 2 months ago while closing up the swing open 10 foot wide, home made by previous occupant door, it fell off the hinges and slammed to the ground. My son and I managed to stand it back up and screw it shut. I got the door/wall out of the way, put the Stang on the ground and took it down the street and back. Worked great
. My wife rode with me and I told her that maybe I could drive it next week to the Mustang Club meeting after I reinstate the insurance. Just got online and realized the meeting was tonight! I just got done with my first attempt at installing a used 4 panel garage door that I got in pieces. I'm locked up for the night and maybe Saturday I can figure out how to complete the project. Maybe I'll see you next month November 17, 3rd Tuesday. kennyg
