So far, I've been told it's not for sale. However, I drove by there today and they've been cleaning the place up. It and everything around it is gone and I don't see it there anywhere. The Ford truck next to it is on a different part of the lot, but no sign of the Fairlane. Don't know where it went, I'll have to get my "source" to check into it.

 

if your luck runs as mine you will find out they sold it for 500 bucks or so ..

 

Sad, but true. If it wasn't for bad luck, I'd have none at all.

 

 

that is an amazing picture !!! that that much stuff can still be gathered in one working spot and have others stacked up like firewood in the background.. you can see two door bodies of all kinds everywhere .. i`d love to have that picture in a wall size blowup to hang in my shop..( and how many sentences can you write that has " that that " back to back .

 

I have the large 2800x2128 I can email you if you want it. the place is huge and has been shutdown for a while, I think the newest car there was a mustang II that looked like it had been parked recently,everything else is mids '60s and back, heres another pic of the same junkyard, I need to go back and get some better pics

Here's a couple of items of interest in my neighbors yard:
1971 LTD 429 4-V auto, console shift w/bucket seats, was Woody Andersons personal car.

A couple of Impalas he just hauled in.

But, now here's something to crow about!

hmm... old semi closed containers.. i know of a man that has a few of those with some AMAZING cars in em! I'll say one car.... if your into the mustangs die hard and go looking for the old collectors, junk yards ect like my fiance and I do.. you'll prolly know who he is.

51 merc chop top .. car was solid.. no rusted floor pans or trunk pan.. EVERYTHING there.. could have bought it for $1500 ... reserched how much glass would be for god knows how long.. went back for it and it was sold.. not cool. kick myself BIG for that one.

 

Definitely a '70-'71 Torino Cobra with 429 - no 428's in Cobras (or Cyclones) after 1969.

 

it`s this car ,, been sitting for a very longtime .. the owners passed away and the widow wont sell it .. it does stay cover up year round .. she allowed me a shot of it ..4 speed and shaker hood

 

beautiful car! I love the torinos.. we have a 302 70 down the road..car has sat there my whole life..always cchecked it out. My dad finally stopped to try buying it and it was already sold....grr

 

i have no more ford stuff of my own .. i can put up a few shots from up north

 

oh maan... do they know WHAT that car is worth???? I would *almost* trade my cobra for it lol
