Buying a new motor for the 'vert
Guess some of you might have seen the crate motor for sale in the paper(Hsv. Times), well I decided to buy it since mine has over 150K on it. It's a 302 with aluminum heads and an E303 cam, 340hp and roller rocker arms. Deron Shady will be installing it for me. Should be in the car sometime in the next month. I don't want to think about what I'll have invested in this car but when I'm done but pretty much everything will be new or rebuilt. Should be a great driver though.

Just a little update. I'm waiting on a few parts to come in and then Deron said he could possbly get started on it the first of the year. Got new BBK shorty headers, a gear drive(off Ebay), chrome oil pan, Mustang(running horse) chrome pan bolts, upper/lower control arms & front bushings(5.0 Resto). Going to have the intake hopefully powdercoated black.

Well, I bought a Black powdercoated intake off Ebay, should be here in a few days. Dropped off the parts at Deron's today. He's buying the motor in the car for his nephews car, so hopefully I won't come out too bad on labor. I'm just ready to get the car running and then in the paint booth. April will be faster then you think. I still have to put it back together when Matthew's done with it.
