Thanks Jake. Already talking with him on a few things. I usually am on top of all of the local / semi-local Craigslist. Hoping to see if anyone here on the forum has something in their garage.

Anyone have any tubular rear control arms for an SN95? Started thinking I could put tubular on my silver car and move the straight stock ones to the white car and test the rear end. Thought I would ask before I bought some!

Once I get it up in the air I will be able to see things. The previous owner started "fixing" it. Pulled the rearend back with a chain and truck. Then took it apart and put all of the parts in the trunk. I have the rearend in loosely with the uppers and shocks connected and that is it. We had to be real careful getting it on the roll back as the rearend kept shifting backwards. I didn't get a good look under there but I know some things are bent from the wreck.

I think I have everything rounded up now except for a right fender and grill. I am going to install the repair kit for the torque boxes and move the control arms from the silver car then check the rearend out. I can't see any bend in the axle or housing and won't know until it rolls. It is an 8.8. Got my spare bumper and a header panel & hood on the way, 2 sets of wheels and tires to choose from. Will get all of the parts trimmed out and installed then send it to KennyG for paint. Depending on where I am on my budget I may replace the carpet while I have the seats out for cleaning.

Still need:
Right Fender
Grill or Grill delete
Left and Right door switch panels (light gray)

On the wheels you got for it do you plan on running spacers on the rear? The S197s have a different offset and cause the wheels to sit far in on a new edge.

Yes. I will be using the correct spacers with longer studs.

More Pics

Here are some pics in the drive in front of my shop. Notice how low it sits. No springs or lower control arms right now. Found a right fender, grille and hood.

Going to get started on the white car the first weekend in June. My daughter will be out of town for a week and planning on picking her up in it on her return.

First task is installing the rear torque box repair and reinstall rearend with tubular control arms. Decided not to put the tubulars on the the silver pony for now. Never done one of the torque box kits but it looks straight forward. After installed will have to do rear breaks and drive it to a friends to weld it.

Got a chance to do a little Saturday. Pulled off the damaged parts and checked the fit of the replacement fender. It was a little torqued on the car I pulled it off of but it seems to hang fine. The right rail is compressed at the accordion however it will pull out fine. There is no damage other than the slight compression and the right front apron has not moved.

Will pull fender back off tonight along with the hood and take to Gullatt's in the morning for paint. I will continue to work on the rearend install tonight and tomorrow. While working on the front end noticed another one of the stock wheels was bent. Will be installing the stock ones from the silver car for a while to run some tread off of them.

Cranked it up and let it run a good 15 or 20 minutes. It really smoothed out after about 10 minutes. The AC is very cold. It has been smoked in but not too stinky. I box of baking soda under the seat should take care of it.
