No problem there.

I haven't had any problem shifting mine either.

I have experimented double clutching and it did shift even smoother.

I think some are having a problem because of technique. Maybe forcing the stick a little.

I have NO problem shifting into 3rd, but **** even w/ the MGW shifter I get locked out of 2nd. What gives? It's like I have the exact same problem getting into 2nd as everyone else has getting into 3rd. It sucks even worse not being able to drop back to the #2 gear.

Now that would REALLY pee me off after going to the trouble and expense of an aftermarket shifter!!

I'd like to say you're right about that, but many of us with this issue have been driving with manual transmissions for DECADES.

I only have 650 miles on mine and I noticed problems from day one. I thought (and was told) it was a technique problem. Lightening my grip helped, but still not going in as easy as it should all the time. There is even a bit of a vibration in the stick while in 3rd at certain speeds thats not felt in the other gears.

Good!

'Grinding' is a whole different problem than simply having difficulty in shifting into 3rd.

Good to know they're on top of it. Had my TR3650 rebuilt at 2,800 miles on my '08 Alloy GT (Bullitt wishful). Haven't had a single problem in the 3,000 miles since then.

Traction control is a very useful thing, glad to hear you didn't hurt anything.

My GT500 goes 80 MPH in 2nd...

My GT500 goes 80 MPH in 2nd, so selecting 2nd instead of 4th isn't generally going to be a problem.

Do you drop the clutch when you shift into 2nd at 60mph?
