I'd like to be in, but it probably won't be until late-winter/spring until I order one. I hope there's still some left...

I ordered one last friday. DHG, anti-theft, locking wheel nuts. Mustangs built for Canada include Sirrus with the Shaker 500 or 1000. Didn't seem to be any option to get HID or ambient.

As of last friday the order banks in Canada were still not showing prices- so while the dealer said he could order it, I'm not sure if it's "official" yet since production has not begun. So I think all our orders are just sitting in a big tray on someone's desk

Just got off the phone to my dealer- he told me the computer accepted the order yesterday. He should get a build confirm on thurs. He said most likely the car will be delivered end of Jan., first of Feb.

So no HID or ambient lighting for Canada? Strange..................Good luck with your car. You won't regret it.

Well the dealer could find nothing on his computer and if you check the ford.ca website you will see that ambient lighting is packaged with the my color in the interior upgrade package. It's not a seperate option like in the US.
Why? I have no idea!

I wonder if the Mustang HID isn't compatible with DRL or something? That would certainly be a reason it wouldn't be available in Canada.

That's probably it exactly. The DRL is a module that cuts power to the regular output, thus "dimming" the lights for daytime use. Maybe HID lamps are either on or off and can't be weakened for daytime use, as Canada requires DRL.

That's what I'm thinking. To include DRL in the mustang HID may require a separate bulb in the headlight assembly which is not present.

does anyone have the toll free # for robot lady?

it been over two years since I got my 06...used to know the drill pretty good...would call several times a week...then the one day you get a SN, then a build date, then a delivery date..oh yea!

took me 11 months to get the 06, ordered as an 05 in Jan. 05, did not make the 05 cut, order was changed to 06 and had to wait all over again, got my Tungsten 06 two years ago today.
