Awesome. Have a friend that has an '08 STi and the best he's seen is 21mpg (he's trying to convince me to get an STi over the Bullitt)...

Those new STis look terrible. I had a friend with an '05 STi which was a very nice ride, though.

Anyway, those are some good numbers, 1 Bullitt! I'd be very pleased with that...

Believe it or not, the Canadian Bullitts are listed at 32MPG!!(highway). Someone goofed, as there is no way you'd get this, but good for a laugh anyway.

I topped off the gas just before a trip I took. I made sure it was full before I left. Mine doesn't have the chronic fuel filler issue most people have, or at least not yet. I drove 109 miles and stopped to see how it did on gas mileage . All that would fit into the tank was 3.3 gallons! What made me suspicious was at 100 miles, the gas guage read that I only used 1/8 of a tank. Both fill-ups the guage read full. I set the cruise control for 65 MPH and left it there. It even has 3.55 rear gears! EDIT That was with 89 octane. But with rising gas prices, I switched to 87 octane and haven't been able to duplicate those results. The best I got on 87 was 28 MPG .Not bad for a 4.6 .

The STI isn't that bad. The wide body look helps it out a lot. The WRX version looks like crap though.

Bullitt Manual suggests that you wait for 2000-3000 miles before you get accurate MPG.

Thats usually correct you have a break in and after the break in the mileage will improve. so if this is the case then he should get even better if his car is still under that.

Two road trips to date. First trip to Louisiana doing 80-85 and got over 25 mpg. Second trip driving 70-75 got a little over 26 on the way but had a tail wind.Very surprised.

The window sticker on the Bullitts (in Canada) states 32MPG highway. Fat chance, but I'd be well pleased with anything around 25MPG, which is quite acceptable I think.
