SuperCharger

Is there a SuperCharger that fits under the tower brace?
I don't want to disturb the brace !
I like the roots type of blower!

I think the magnacharger retains the stock intake height, and it is a roots style blower. they come stock with a 6 lb pulley and tune i believe but you can pulley them up to 15 lbs from what i have read in my research.

Seems too many Bullitt threads get moved out then are hard to find.

Sorry you guys (and gals) feel that way but you do know that it is the same engine right? I realize you are talking about it fitting under the strut brace and there are a bunch of topics just like that in the GT performance section. I'll leave this one here if that makes you happier, but you won't get as many responses as you would in the other section (at least from what I have seen). As for other topics that have been moved if you feel they should not have been feel free to let me know. In most cases we just move ones that are not specific to the bullitt, such as adding window louvers, interior mods, engine mods, etc.

Problem is there are many different strut tower braces, and even though the one used in the Bullitt is a 'Ford Racing' brace, there seems to be more than one 'Ford Racing' brace and they aren't all the same.

It makes sense to keep this discussion, as well as others, Bullitt specific.

I'm sure Loud Pony wants to know exactly waht will fit under the brace he has.

Well I'll have to admit Newdy's thread that got moved to gt perf and tech got twice as many posts in one day as this one has gotten in 5. I suppose I'm inclined to retract my "yup"....

RC c'mon....5 out of 5 responses to that thread pertained to superchargers and tower braces with bullitts. Here we have 2 out of 9, mine here being 10, that pertain to superchargers and tower braces.

I will say though that this is not the case with every thread that gets moved.

And yeah, sometimes I WILL choose quantity over quality!!

And last, but not least, for you, I shall restore my "yup"

Well how much can you say about Superchargers and the Bullitt strut tower brace anyway?

To some extent I agree. However if someone posts something like "what would these quarter window scoops look like on my car", well that goes to exterior mods regardless. It has been like that since day 1 with the V6, GT, GT/CS, Shelby's, etc, so the Bullitt would be treated no differently (or shouldn't be IMO). So I will just move the extremely obvious ones

I wondered from the beginning of the 2008 Bullitt announcement whether a twin screw type supercharger would fit under the tower brace and posted this question in the Bullitt section. Of course no one knew for sure and I guess we won't until someone actually tries it. I remember that Ford stated they were working on a brace that would clear the unit, and perhaps the Bullitt brace is the one. The RoushCharger looks like it would fit but I don't know for sure.

Sometimes the side window scoop discussion for the Bullitt are about look of the certain offering compared to the look of a '68, not just, 'hey guys which looks coolest help me pick'

Anyway if you do that it would help to leave a shadow in the Bullitt section, and not delete it.
