Today I replaced my 08 Bullitt axle-backs with the Ford Racing Axle-backs.
Wow !!!!!! I love the new sound. It is the same sounding car ,But a lot louder and deeper !!!!
It's not my loudest Stang I ever owned . But It is my nicest sounding one through!

Most likely they are the same as I have on the GT500. If the stock exhaust would have sounded as the Bullitt they would still be stock.

That sounds much better than the stock Bullitt exhaust. The Bullitt exhaust sounds good but is much to quiet for me.

Good choice. I went through 2 muffler sets before going with FRPP mufflers. The guys at work say the windows on the building shake when I pull out of the parking lot after work.

How do you get no drone when every other person who has owned FRPP stingers and Borla stingers has drone? What does the Bullitt have for a mid pipe?

The Bullitt has a modified H-Pipe that Ford made to make the Bullitt sound like a 390ci
That is the difference.

I think everyone has their own opinion on what drone is. When I am on the highway there is obvious drone. Not as loud as what my 90lx with flowmasters had, but there is still drone. Some think there is no drone and some others say there is too much and wouldn't want to go for more than a 30 minute drive.

I agree. Drone is in the ear of the beholder. My SVO has Supertrapps that have a constant "rumble" at all rpms. If you're cruising, then it's drone. It's all about what noise level you can accept.
