Just purchased DHG 08 Bullitt for "Sticker" from Acton Ford in Mass. they still have a black one at sticker right now (although who in their right mind would buy a black Bullitt) BTW drove the car over to Herb Chambers day I bought it and let the salesman know he lost not only the sale on this car but on the other car (an Edge) my wife is going to purchase.

 

I talked to a Herb Chambers salesman at the DCU Center Car Show and he was all sorts of happy at charging $20K over sticker for a Bullitt.

 

Herb Chambers is the dealer in the post a couple down that wants 20K over. I told the sales manager that it is not right to ask this from a potential buyer, Herb Chambers does not need the money.

Yes, I know that is a joke, but center exit exhaust just doesn't work on these cars. SN95 Saleens could pull it off, but that's about it, in my opinion.

Congrats on the purchase, and I agree that the dealer mark ups are on the ridiculous side, by far sometimes.

 

By the tightness in his face, i'd say he needs it for his botox injections!

LOVE the screen name, BTW. I'm a huge fan and never even thought about Spenser's Ivy Green '66 when looking at the Bullitt. Come to think of it since the '05+ bodystyle looks more like a 65/66 than a 67/68 the '08 Bullitt looks more like Spenser's Mustang than Frank's.

AND I just noticed your from Massachusetts! How cool is that!!
