From: Beautiful New Hampshire!!!
It does have the extra IUP gauges, IUP, and the machine-turned dash appliqued that all other IUP cars have(just in the satin or charcoal)!! So, if you're gonna wait for the Crapmaro, go ahead, same stuff, different day, still looks horrible!! Thaqt will leave more Mustangs for those who really appreciate them!!

I know that the Bullitt is not going to be cheap, and i just don't want it to be a stripped down deluxe model with no info center, with a big empty spot in the instrument panel, and info center button caps on the dash.

If the Bullitt was a stripped down deluxe model, it should reflect a stripped down price, but it won't be that. I just hope it will have those gauges and the info center, which is a pretty important piece on the car. I sent an email to the ford order processing center, who forwarded it to the engineering department, so we should get an answer on that issue pretty soon. (24-48 hours they claim.)

I'm excited about the engine turn dash, and other interior enhancements. As i recall we have just one more month until it's officially revealed, so not much longer to wait.

Also, if this is tuned for premium fuel, is there any way to.. detune it, for normal fuel? I'm not to keen on paying premium fuel prices.

I'm on the fence about the machine-turned dash. Hopefully it'll look better than my mental image of it.

I received info back from Ford. Here is what they said.

"Bullitt gets the 6 gauge cluster with a unique higher redline on the tachometer. they also have a message center.
My Color is exclusively bundled with Interior Upgrade Package (18G) and therefore, not available on Bullitt (54B).

Sincerely,
<O

Thanks for relaying the info!

What is the default cluster color? Green?

It looks like the Bullitt will only be available with a manual transmission. I agree that this is the proper way to do it but thought that an auto might be offered since the SGT is offered with automatic. I'm surprised ford didn't offer it as an option so they might sell some more of these.

I wonder how much higher the redline will be. Might make a few more ponies up top. I also wonder if this translates to a different cam grind(doubtful) because of the VVT or diferent lifters etc.

No the gt's redline was lower in the sn-95. I believe it was 5800. I think the current gt is 6250.

My second hand info is "6500 RPM redline due to a different crank pulley dampener..."
