Buy '09 Bullitt or '10 GT?

Hey all, ya its the Bullitt forum, but I am nearly ready for another Mustang. I love the Bullitt, but also like what I see in the '10. Prob want to move on a new Mustang next spring. Will there be any '09 Bullitts left by then, or scrap the whole thing and order a '10...what would you do?

I for one think the 2010 looks too Japanese. The 05-09 are much much more classy in comparison. Performance should be about the same.

Save the dollars! Buy a Bullitt!

considering both the economy and the amount of folks who are also contemplating a '10, might be a good "shopping" opportunity in the spring for an '09. I personally like the exterior of the '09s, but the interior of the new ones are a nice improvement.

Good luck with your decision!

Buy the BULLITT. It's Stealth. Rare. And besdies, the 2010 offers the Bullitt Suspension, Fuel Induction, and Shifter. And it will be very commonplace out there. Soooooooo, whay pay the extra!! Buy the Bullitt NOW, and wait for the all new Mustang on the GRW Platform for 2014. Which by the way will be released in early 2013.

I'd get the Bullitt if retro is the preference. All the modern upgrades would make the '10 GT an excellent buy although discounts and bargains will likely be hard to come by for its first production MY.

well...If you are thinking about the 2010, you should get it. you may regret buying an "old car", and you may be iching to trade it in when you see everyone driving new new style....but you may not care about that stuff. get what you want.

if you're thinking by the time you're ready to buy that there will no longer be any 09 bullitts left, today, i went to a local ford dealer in s. cal and saw new unsold 08 bullitts sitting around collecting dust.

I'd get the Bullitt, and yes, there still should be '09 Bullitts available next spring, maybe even some 2008's. When I test drove a Bullitt vs a GT last June, my local dealer had eight 2008 Bullitts on their lot, when I looked at their website last week, they still had six of them. I wanted an '08 Bullitt (to match my '01 Bullitt), but Ford wasn't offering any incentives on them, and even though I could have gotten one for invoice, it was still $5-6k more than the '08 GT Premium I ended up with.

Unfortunately I wouldn't consider a 2009 Bullitt for myself though as they all have that ridiculously ugly wart of an antenna on the trunk for satellite radio, at least on the '08 Bullitts it was an option.
