Codeman94, it would be the same, the hoodscoop is non-functional, and the hood liner (at least on my '07) had the holes pre-cut for the mounting studs for the hoodscoop.

Funny you Should Say that. It is Listed in the Shelby Section and Not the Standard Gt Section. Yet the Grille is Listed in the Standard Gt Bumper Section. Time will tell!

I was flipping through an old 2004 dealer color chart and ran across the paint code for Dark Highland Green. Ford used DHG on the SuperDuties a few years back.

Color Code
PX Dark Highland Green, Clearcoat Metallic (CCM)

Thought this is a nice little tidbit of info to share.

It was available on the F150s although the '01 Bullitt DHG was richer and brighter.

The F-150's used P5 Aspen Green, which is similar to DHG but is just a shade darker. Side by side they are very similar.

Yeah the color is close until gives you touch up Paint for the F-150 instead of the Bullitt DHG and it leaves dark touch up spots in your paint! Believe me i have a couple dark spots due to this.

I was thinking that the DHG paint code on the Bullitts was "PY" rather than "PX".

Any thoughts on that?

According to this chart, PY and PX are the same thing except that PY is a basecoat/clearcoat and PX is Base a ???? (can't read at the bottom of the chart, what "+" means next to PX)

They are different. PX tends to be a bit darker so it shows up when trying to use touch up paint. 01 Bullitt owners need to specify PY when ordering paint.

Potential colors were posted here:

The "+" means it is a "water borne" (water based) paint. I zoomed in on the text using photoshop to read it better.

So, the Bullitt (PY) paint was water based and the SuperDuty (PX) paint is solvent based.

At the end of the day they are the same color, sharing the same PPG code #5488.

Nope. Don't you remember-- everyone wanted that hood for the '500, but it had really bad air management characteristics...so they canned it.

Yeah i know that...but being that the bullitt engine is N/A and not producing 500hp... the air/heat managment is not that important on the bullitt.
