Ford can easily have the 18" Bullitt polished wheels painted.

The '01 Bullitt had the same size rotors as the '01 Cobra. Perhaps Ford has the same idea this time.

With 18'' wheels the '08 Bullitt could have the same brake setup as the GT500 directly from Ford. That would mean a reasonable price increase but would be worth it.

Aww, but then you'd lose them bewtiful painted calipers they're planning.

I am partial to black calipers although I found the red calipers on the '01 to be a unique contrast.

Ford has shown good taste with the Mustang designs unlike the aftermarket which with the exception of the Shelby GT, has been geared towards the flashy and extravagant.

Agreed. Gimme a Bullitt w/same mechanical upgrades as the forthcoming Shelby GT, in DHG, and w/other cosmetics they want to put on it (but keep the MSRP BELOW the ShelbyGT). I'm on the fence, however, whether louvered side windows would be for me or not (blindspots and all)...

A dual vented hood would be nice too of course, but add $$ to the bottom line, methinks....

Hmmm, I suppose I could buy a Bullitt and then add the GT500's brakes and steering rack, the deeper front fascia from the appearance package, and real American Racing Torq Thrust II's myelf. But it would have been nice if Ford could at least have given us the front fascia and brakes. Would have made less work for me anyway.

That said, if I have to take off a hood scoop too I'm gonna be......

I think it would only be fitting for the "BULLITT" to have a "Pistol Grip" Shifter...

I get "why" you are saying that. But it doesn't fit Mustangs historically, nor the Bullitt.

Better suited to Dodges.

It'll be your one chance to carry a gun in your Bullitt. As opposed to a Bullitt in your gun.

Will the new Bullit be A SON OF A GUN? If you beat somebody in a Race with a BULLLITT will it be like getting Pistol whipped? Sorry Just Shooting in the dark for a little humor! LOL!
