My first choice was to order one in Black. Saw the DHG at a VA dealership and really liked it ...and the wife did too. DHG distinguishes it from the rest of the GT's. Hadn't planned on it, but I've had one sitting in my driveway since 12/22/07.

Considering True Blue is no longer available and Vista Blue is bit too bright, an available alternative would have been Alloy Gray. It would have kept the Bullitt's low key theme. I was surprised it wasn't offered.

That would have been nice having both of the available colors being a metallic - alloy would have looked pretty kick a$$.

As far as Mustang color pallet goes, but from within Ford there are many more options.
What about Dark Blue Pearl metallic?

I personaly prefer the DHG on the Bullitt but I have no problem with the car being offered in other colors. I do wish Ford would offer the suspension and gearing of the Bullitt as a performance option on regular GT's. The Bullitt would still be different with the interior changes, DHG color and the CAI setup.

I suspect most of that will be offered through FRPP

Alot of the Bullitt pieces are already available, it would just be more convenient for the customer to order the car with these options already on the car. But I guess that would also take away the fun of modding the car after purchase.

Ford's take on it is more than likely that if you want that stuff you should be ordering a Bullitt.

Who knows what the '09 option list will bring.
