Ok, I'm new to the forum and sure this has already been asked. Got an internet quote from a local dealer for a Bullitt (only xtras are Sirius radio, wheel locks, ambient lighting (about $450 worth)), highland green:

SALE PRICE:------ $31,335
CASH REBATE:----- $1,500
YOUR COST:------- $29,835

It's on the lot and they have crawled up my butt to come in for a test drive. The rebate is nice but any chance they will deal? BTW, I'm in the Northeast (MA).

At the sale price they have a little of room to deal.
Probably between $1500 and $1900 to play in. Remember though they are going to want to make some profit on the car.

Good luck

I'm suprised that nobody has mentioned that the $1,500 rebate was yanked off of Bullitts again as of April 15th. It was only available from 4/01 to 4/14, and who knows if Ford is going to offer it on Bullitts again anytime soon. They pulled the special finance rates from Bullitts, as well.

I suspect applying it was a mistake in the first place. Probably an oversight by whoever entered the data.

There are other examples of this kind of mistake from Ford such as the Bullitt data spec .pdf which has now been corrected.

Good for the people who were able to take advantage of this rebate!

I snuck one out of dealer stock on Friday, April 11, and got the rebate.
