MM&FF Magazine PJ Saleen Article
In the May 2007 MM&FF magazine there is a good write up on the PJ Saleen. A good shot of the reworked 4.6, pulled frontal view and another of the watts link rear set up! Man! this is how a Mustang should be built!!
I'm sorry, but I would never pay $70000 for something with as little perf. gains as the PJ. What's it rated at? 400hp? For that amount of money I would buy a GT and do an engine swap, mod the hell out of it, and probably get close to 800hp.
I'm sorry, but Saleen just makes you pay for that name.

I still don't see how a Saleen is worth 70k... 50k I understand.
Ricer logic? you're trying to start an argument arn't you? Quite a few people don't consider Saleen exclusive at all. Could be that I've seen about 15 of them driving around in the past month, but I'd much rather have a Shelby than a Saleen. Both in resale value and performance. Price for price, I'd take the GT500 (if I could find it at 70k) a lot quicker than the PJ Saleen.
Although the PJ is the only Saleen I've ever seen that looks good. I hate every spoiler they've ever made (looks like it belongs on an eclipse) and their body kits leave alittle to be desired. So as far as Saleens go, the PJ edition is an A+ design.

Present day Saleens and Roush's are the modern version of the Shelby's of the 60's. And it is a FACT that they are more exclusive regardless of how many are in your area. Production numbrs don't lie.
