For the Jack Roush fans ... the new 428R
There is also some "bling" under the hood...
The 2008 ROUSH 428R* Mustang is limited to 200 vehicles, each a potent street slayer with 435 horsepower and 400 lb.-ft. of torque thanks to the famous ROUSHcharger* system, which, in the 428R* is a chrome powdercoat which glistens when the hood is raised. Other under-the-hood goodies include ROUSH billet radiator and intercooler radiator caps, oil cap, and strut tower caps which add to the sparkling engine compartment.
The looks of the car continue on the exterior also, with the ROUSH front fascia, chin spoiler, hood scoop and rear wing adding to the muscular look. The locking hood pins show the world that there is something lurking under the hood, and the black bar high-flow grille adds to the aesthetics.

On a serious note, JR sets the 2007 for a 427R; - 2008 for a 428R; - and 2009 for a 429R. To distinguish the model year due to it's limited production. Each at a base hp rating of 435 hp. 2009 may bring a pully upgrade kit to up it some more.
I like the black chromed bar grille.
LOL

It is totally open for air flow as well. There is one at my shop on the floor; - it's on the 427R Trak Pack Roush.

Not to mention that's around 380 rwhp depending on the weather. Not to shabby for an intercooled system keeping the warranty intact but.......there is a place for everything. It's not always about the 1/4 mile and how big your ummmmmmm Johnson is because you have 5 or 600+ HP.

In regards to the balance between power, handling and styling; Roush has a good one here.
This 50s temperatures and low humidity makes for some 2nd gear spinning and not even at 2.5k. Tires won't stick worth a jam in the cold.
