There's 2, one with black hood feature and one without. I think the one with is still in Europe.

Thank goodness for that.. However I actually like the side profile but other than that ? this concept looks more like a Mustang II with hips and there's no trunk/a$$ end whatsoever.. IMHO ? the overall design is just plain fugly...just not my cup of tea as to what an american icon like the Mustang should look like

 

Theres good and bad about that version, I do kinda like the front fascia, it looks ****ed off.

 

I agree, and that's what I like, along with the side view. I'm just not in love with that rear-end, and that's what most folks will see on this car.

I know it's the Giugiaro concept. But has anyone considered the possiblity that you could be looking at the next Mustang? Is it possible that Ford could use that body with a metal roof instead of glass and with a 302 engine?

 

Sure they could, but why would they want to?

 

Ford has already confirmed the Giugiaro concept will not become the next Mustang for 2010.. besides the next Mustang isn't getting a complete make over ? but just a refresh similar to what the SN-95 went through in 99 only this time around ? the body lines will become more aggressive (hips) However the current S-197 retro design along with the current greenhouse will remain unchanged.. Btw ? the Giugiaro concept is nothing more than a 2005 Stang make over..

 

And probably something to test the waters, people see it, they say what they like and dislike then Ford jots it down for future reference.

 

Some aspects of the Guigario are cool but the headlights make it look too much like a hampster.
